Consulting – Planning – Interior design – Colour concepts – Production of especially designed furniture
All furniture is made of high-quality wood: carefully crafted smoked oak. The mellow shade of the smoked wood forms the perfect contrast to the otherwise brightly designed rooms – and thus rounds off the entire colour concept. Special feature: all the storage furniture fascinates by the lack of handles on the fronts – made possible by tip-on function.
The basic item of furniture in the living room is a lowboard to accommodate the home entertainment centre – flanked by two sideboards for additional storage space. Special feature: the entire combination was produced in a concave configuration to match the floor plan of the room. The corridor leading to the living room also offers a rounded floor plan. The sideboard presented there fits into the building plan with its convex match to the rounded wall. As a result, it perfectly complements the continued access to the living room.
A further highlight in the living room is the built-in recessed cabinet unit that has been fitted to precisely match the niche provided. The challenge was to build a cabinet that creates a light optical effect, perfectly matches the surroundings, and offers optimal storage space. To emphasize design lightness, both wood as well as a partial glass fronts were crafted to form the cabinets. This cabinet is equipped on the interior with special wood-fibre plates coated in aluminium – which not only provide a bright and light optical effect, but also ensure that glasses and cutlery can be stored without unwanted odour.
In the upper part of the cabinet unit, fitted with glass fronts, glass shelves with indirect lighting were used to produce a special effect. To prevent possible reflections, the glass doors were in contrast provided with a special satin finish. This satin structure was also applied on the outside to allow an overall optical merge of the structure with the directly adjacent plastered wall.
