As a result of its synchronous mechanical system, the SITAG EL 80 assures the optimal sitting position for any sitting posture. It can be locked in 4 adjustment positions, and when the continuous function is used, the backrest and seat tilt automatically match the movements of the user. The pressure of the backrest onto the user’s back can be conveniently adjusted by a handwheel at the side to the needs and the body weight of the user. The backrest, which is adjustable in height, is also available in various models, as are the armrests and the chair surfaces. The upholstered backrest is also offered with an arc-adjustable lumbar support in accordance with the internationally patented Schukra principle.

Mechanical system
Synchronous mechanical system with quick comfort-elasticity adjustment by means of handwheel on the side, and with locking in 4 positions. Material for load-bearing parts: pressure diecast aluminium (recyclable).
Dynamic sitting
The point-synchronous adaptation to user’s movements eliminates any sliding effect on the user’s back (no “shirt-pulloff” effect). The lumbar zone of the backrest always remains at the same point. The mechanical system can be set to continuous function: the chair automatically adjusts to the movements of the user (dynamic sitting). A mechanical spring allows the user to adjust the pressure of the backrest to his or her own individual needs. This spring produces progressively increasing pressure, the farther back the user leans.
Backrest
The backrest is designed such that it provides effective support in the lumbar zone and offers good lateral hold. The backrest can be vertically adjustedby 7 cm in 8 positions. This feature places the lumbar support precisely in the desired position. As an option, the SITAG EL 80 is available with a height adjustable lumbar support implemented according to the internationally patented Schukra principle. The synthetic backrest is also available as an option with upholstery. In addition, a backrest strung with woven fabric mesh is also available. Some of the models can be equipped with a headrest with this mesh. The mesh is possible in black and silver.
Seating surface
The seating surface has pronounced rounding in the front area, to prevent constriction of blood circulation in the thighs. The axis of rotation for the seating-surface tilt action is located toward the front, in order to maintain floor contact during synchronous movement of seat and backrest. The standard version is always provided with sliding seat and integrated seat tile angle of 3 °.

Visitors' chairs SITAG EL 100
Steel tubular frame for cantilever models, as well as for 4-foot frame models: welded, bent and powder-coat finished tubular steel. The cantilever models are available in models that can be stacked (up to 4 chairs). Four-foot frame chairs also available in stackable models (up to 8 chairs). One available model with castors is stackable (up to 4 chairs).
