Data privacy declaration for online job application

Thank you very much for your interest in our online advertisement of a job vacancy. The protection of your personal details is very important to us. In the following, we are accordingly informing you about the collection, processing and use of your data details in connected with your online job application, and in accordance with the pertinent official data privacy regulations.

Data collection

In conjunction with your online job application, we have recorded and processed the following personal application details of yours: - First and last names - Address - Telephone number - E-mail address - Application documents (application cover letter, CV, references, certificates and the like)

Purpose of data recording and forwarding

The collection and processing of your personal application details take place exclusively for the express purpose of filling job vacancies within our company. In all cases, we will forward your details only to the in-house positions and departments of our company that are responsible for the specific job-application process. Forwarding of your personal application data outside the company will not take place without your prior, express permission. No additional use or forwarding of your application details to third parties will take place.

Length of time that your application details will be kept

Deletion of your personal application details will in all cases take place automatically six months after completion of the job-application process. This procedure will not apply in the following cases: if legal regulations prevent deletion of details, if continued storage of details is required to provide necessary evidence, or if you have expressly agreed to longer storage of your details.

Storage of details for future advertisement for job applications

In the event that we cannot offer you a job vacancy to be filled at the present time, but if we believe – on the basis of your qualification profile – that your application could be interesting for future job vacancies, we will store your personal application data for twelve months, if you expressly agree for such storage and use of your details.

Data security

To protect your details provided in conjunction with your application from manipulation and unauthorized access, we have implemented various technical and organizational precautions. In particular, the transmission of your online application will take place encrypted, in accordance with the current state of the technical art.

Right to know and revocation

Please get in touch with our human resource personal at datenschutz@sitag.ch in the following cases: if you have questions concerning collection, processing or use of your personal details; or in case you need information on your data, or on correction or deletion of such data; or if you wish to revoke previously provided permission.
