The backrest wide tilt angle allows for free and dynamic sitting, which is the biggest advantage for the user’s back muscles, spine and the entire metabolic system. The DYNAMIC PLUS mechanism is characterised by a large backrest tilt range, which guarantees high sitting comfort during everyday work.
Diversity is interesting, as is the fact that each of us is different. It is a great challenge to provide comfortable conditions for people with different body shapes and sizes. Xenium offers an incredible scope of adjustment options and a possibility to choose additional functions to ensure long-lasting and exceptional comfort of use.
Flexibility is one of the most important features an office should possess. With the possibility to choose from three types of backrest – Duo-Back, UPH and Mesh – and the ability to change them easily, we are able to ensure flexibility for every employee, to meet their needs and preferences.

Backrest
Upholstered backrest (UPH) – structure made of plastic (PP), covered with cast foam (density: 65–75 kg/m³ and thickness: 26 mm); backrest cover made of black or white plastic (PP).

- wave-shaped stitching, the lower part of the backrest upholstered with the 3D mesh Runner (does not apply to the versions upholstered with leather or imitation leather),

Duo-Back backrest – structure made of 8-layer beech plywood, 12 mm thick, injected foam with a density of: 65–75 kg/m³ and thickness: 40 mm. As an option: side profiles upholstered with the 3D mesh Runner.
Mesh backrest (MESH) – backrest frame made of black, grey or white plastic (PA + GF). Mesh – made of polyester (75%) and polyamide (25%), abrasion resistance: 40,000 Martindale cycles, flammability in accordance with the standard EN 1021 – 1. Available in 3 colours: black, white and grey.
Lumbar support (upholstered backrest) – mechanism for adjusting the lumbar support in the horizontal dimension, in the range of 25 mm.
Lumbar support (upholstered backrest) – pneumatic mechanism for adjusting the lumbar support in the horizontal dimension, in the range of 30 mm.
Lumbar support (MESH backrest) – mechanism for adjusting the lumbar support in the horizontal dimension, in the range of 20 mm.
Backrest bracket – upper part made of black, grey or white plastic (PA + GF); lower part made of polished aluminium or powder-coated in black.
Backrest height adjustment in the range of 90 mm.
Armrests
2-D armrests (R36) – made of black, grey or white plastic (PA). The pad is made of black or grey polyurethane (PU). The adjustment range: height – 90 mm, rotational movement of the pad – 44°.
4-D armrests (R37) – made of black plastic (PA), the armrest bar made of polished aluminium or powder-coated in black colour, the pad made of black plastic. The range of adjustment: up / down 100 mm, rotational movement of the pad – 360° width adjustment 90 mm, forward / backward movement of the pad – 40 mm.
4-D armrests (R38) – made of black or white plastic (PA), the armrest bar made of polished aluminium or powder-coated in black colour, the pad made of black or grey plastic (PU) width adjustment 80 mm. The height adjustment range is 110 mm, rotational movement – 360°, forward / backward movement of the pad – 40 mm.
